Clarksville

Two great days of racing on the smooth waters of Clarksville , Va happened this past weekend.

This year saw shades of the past with Inboard and Outboards combining to make an awesome show. 70 + inboards/Outboards made the trip this year. Considering we had three races (outboard and inboard) on the same weekend the support for all three races was outstanding. I believe everyone was pleased at how well thing worked between inboard and outboard. Sat. saw 27 heats of racing done by 5:00pm. Both groups got a chance to mingle and learn about each other. Full fields of racing gave those looking for points a last shot for the season.

Inboard enjoyed an incident free weekend and we had some great competition.

The people at Clarksville felt this was one of their best races yet. Jerry Glass’s idea to bring in the Outboards was a real home run and all look forward to doing it again.

The racing went off smoothly and all I saw were smiles, what a great way to end the season

  Region 4 Fall Meeting 2008(Click Here)
Thanks Hope for sending info 
Region 4 Rescue will be hosting the Region 4 meeting, to be held at the
MEBA Engineering School in Easton, MD. For Itinerary, directions, and
hotel information you can check on the Region 4 and Region 4 Rescue
websites.
There will be a buffet lunch offered from 11-12:30 at the school. The
cost will be $10.00 to be payed on the day of the meeting. I will have
the menu shortly and will post it. However we need to get the tickets
for the cafeteria prior to the meeting. If you would like to have a
ticket for the buffet please email Hope Prather at hsp37@aol.com to
make a reservation no later than October 17th.

CAPSULE TRAINING WILL BE HELD AFTER THE MEETINGS STARTING AT 2:00 PM
