DIRECTIONS TO MEBA:  From Points North of Easton - Take Route 50 East, about 1 mile past Easton Airport, bear right onto MD 322 (see signs to St. Michaels, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum).  At 4th traffic signal, turn right onto MD 33 (St. Michaels Road).  Caution: MD 333 is two traffic lights before MD 33.  See signs to St. Michaels and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.  Travel 3 miles to school entrance (beige brick gate portals on right.  Drive up scenic tree-lined drive.  Turn left at Welcome sign and go short distance to first two buildings you see on the right and park in the lot in-between them.

 

From Norfolk - Take US 13N across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (toll $12 for autos).  Take US 13N to Salisbury, MD.  Stay on US 13 (not Business 13) to join US 50 West.  Follow US 50W toward Easton.  Approaching Easton, turn left onto MD 322.  At 4th traffic signal, turn left onto MD 33 (St. Michaels Road).  Caution: MD 333 is two traffic lights before MD 33.  Travel 3 miles to school entrance (beige brick gate portals on right.  Drive up scenic tree-lined drive.  Turn left at Welcome sign and go short distance to first two buildings you see on the right and park in the lot in-between them.

 

Follow signs to APBA - Region 4 Meeting.  Capsule Training will be in the Olympic Swimming Pool Building which is adjacent to the building where the meeting and lunch will be held.

 

ITENERARY:  8:30 - 9:00    Check-In (there will be coffee, water and sodas but no food)

                           9:00 - 11:00  Category Meetings/General Meeting

                          11:00 - 12:30  Lunch

Category Meetings and General Meeting will be combined.  General Meeting will begin at the conclusion of Category Meetings and may begin before the lunch break. 

 

Lunch:  A buffet lunch is available at MEBA.  Cost is $10.00 per person.  If you are planning to eat lunch at MEBA, your ticket must be ordered in advance.  The Region will purchase tickets for those making reservations in advance.  These tickets can be paid for the day of the meeting; however, you must either call Hope Prather at (757)535-1546 or e-mail her at hsp37@aol.com to make a reservation.  Cut-off for lunch reservations is Wednesday, October 21.

 

CAPSULE TRAINING WILL BEGIN AT 2:00 P.M.

You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
